How Did Crypto.com “Accidentally” Send More Than 320,000 Ether To Rival Exchange Gate?

November 13, 2022

Hello Bubble Riders! Here is a weekly update on crypto news:

Even with all that has been going on between FTX and Binance, there has been yet another  new occurrence in the Crypto world. Today, a Twitter user posted a screenshot inquiring why a large amount of ETH had suddenly moved out of Crypto.com a few weeks ago.

  • On October 21, 2022,  Crypto.com “accidentally” sent 320k ETH of user deposits to Gate.io
  • October 28, 2022, Gate shows “proof of reserves” and then sends 285,000 ETH back
  • However, CEO, Kris Marszalek claimed that the transfer was a result of human error

It seems that even crypto experts make mistakes and accidentally send crypto to the wrong address!

However, that’s why The Art of The Bubble is here. We provide you a solution to prevent these silly mistakes from happening!
