Meme coins are back!
- According to WhaleStats.com two of the most popular meme coins are back. The Top 100 Ethereum whales are buying Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Bored Ape Yacht Club token (BAYC). As a result these coins have returned to the top 10 by trading volume.
- Up 5.07% in the last 24 hours, the live ApeCoin price today is $7.05 USD. The live Shiba Inu price today is $0.000012 USD (up .64% in the last 24 hours).
- Shiba Inu gained popularity in the market after Elon Musk tweeted about his interest in owning a Shiba pup. SHIB was launched to imitate rival coin Dogecoin (DOGE). ApeCoin on the other hand, was released as “a token for culture, gaming, and commerce” and it’s the main coin in the BAYC ecosystem.
